At high therapeutic pressures, three factors play a crucial role in ensuring an optimal fit for ventilation masks.

The silicone bubble is characterized by its double sealing lips. The therapeutic pressure creates an air cushion that provides a very good seal without causing pressure marks. Its shape is anatomical and based on two factors: Firstly, our constantly growing patient facial database and the market feedback that is continuously collected and analyzed. Secondly, the crucial factor concerns the junction between the skirt and the mask body. This junction must remain stable during treatment, whether in the presence of continuously high pressures or large pressure differences during inhalation and exhalation in BiLevel mode. However, the junction must also be easily disassembled for simple and effective cleaning. These seemingly contradictory requirements are successfully reconciled by LENA. The harness is also one of the three key elements. The harness material is strong enough to prevent leaks or mask instability under large pressure differences. An adjustable forehead wedge, equipped with a forehead pad, reinforces the fit of the LENA mask.
